Our Lady of Perpetual Help

We had a marvelous celebration of the Eucharist at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Kearns Sunday. This predominantly Vietnamese community welcomed me warmly as they presented me with twenty-eight candidates for confirmation. In addition, we welcomed in the Year of the Tiger, asking God to bless us and to grant us peace and growth in the new lunar year.

SALT LAKE CITY - On Wednesday, Roman Catholics and other Western Christians around the world will gather to celebrate one of the most recognizable rites of the liturgical year: the imposition of ashes, which marks the beginning of the annual observance of Lent.
